May/summer financial aid dates and deadlines
Please pay close attention to these important timelines.

| May 5 | May/summer awarding begins: undergraduates May/summer awarding begins: Law and Graduate School students |
| May 26 | First day: summer 2008 Work Study awards may now be used |
| May 27 | May session classes begin |
| May 20 | Financial aid disbursement begins for Law and Medical School students |
| May 27 | Law School summer classes begin |
| June 9 | Financial aid disbursement begins. |
| June 13 | End of three-week May session |
| June 16 | Summer term classes begin |
| June 25 | Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be received by the federal processor for May/summer Minnesota State Grant consideration. |
| June 29 | DEADLINE: You must complete all May/summer registration. |
| June 30 | DEADLINE: The federal processor must have received your 2007-2008 FAFSA on or before this date. Be sure to include the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities school code—003969 on the FAFSA so that your information will be sent to the University. If you have already filed a 2007-2008 FAFSA but did not request school code 003969, please see a One Stop counselor. |
